2. Publication & Arbitration

The publication of all the works is free as long as they approve the arbitration of the journal. The arbitration is contributive, that is, a contribution is required to guarantee the arbitration.

Anonymous expert arbitrators evaluate the quality of the work and give their opinion in about 45 days so that Orbis can respond to the author as soon as possible. With the Contribution to the Promotion of Research made by the authors to the Unamuno Foundation, Orbis offers an economic collaboration to the arbitrators and covers part of the subsidy for other researchers as well as the research-training programs of the Unamuno Foundation.

Once Orbis communicates the suggestions and recommendations to the authors, they have one month to make the corrections suggested by the arbitrators. If the author does not respond within one month to the report communicated by Orbis via e-mail, the work submitted must begin a new arbitration.

Only articles approving the arbitration are published.

The final decision to publish is made by the Editorial Committee

The decision of the arbitrators and the Editorial Committee is unappealable.

Arbitration work is secret. The Editorial Committee does not discuss with the authors the recommendations of the arbitrators or the Committee.

All communication is exclusively by electronic means.

3. Contribution from the authors

The authors contribute to the Promotion of Research on behalf of the Unamuno Foundation. The Unamuno Foundation sponsors the journal Orbis to cover part of the administrative and placement costs of the journal in global settings. The Unamuno Foundation returns benefits to researchers in the following manner:

1)Subsidizes researchers by accelerating the response time of arbitration.

2) Placing the magazine in prestigious international indexes and databases to increase dissemination, visibility, and impact.

3) Granting new researchers and teams that publish for the second and third time.

4) It promotes diverse courses related to Management Sciences and Science Communication.

How to submit an article?

Step 1:Preparation

Prepare your article according to Orbis' standars and style.

Check the quality according to the  Evaluation list to facilitate the work of the arbitrators and the response time, thus accelerating its publication and the incremental benefits.

If it is properly prepared for publication, you will be able to reach the scientific and academic community as soon as possible through indexed publications.

Its correct preparation will facilitate a fast and high quality arbitration in about 45 days. If the article is approved by the arbitrators and the Committee, its publication is free of charge.

Step 2: Calculation of the CPR Contribution

Orbis Journal is Open Access and therefore accessible for free on the Internet. We guarantee that no university, library, or individual will have to pay subscription or pay-per-view fees to access articles in the electronic version of the magazine. In order to cover the costs induced by the editorial procedures, the routine operation of the journal, the processing of manuscripts through peer review, and the maintenance of the publication structure, the Unamuno Foundation, the journal's publisher, requests a Contribution to the Promotion of Research (CPR), which can be met by the author's institution or research funds.

The amount of the Contribution to the Promotion of Research (CPR) ) to be made by the authors to the Unamuno Foundation is:

USD $450, up to three authors, and USD $150 for each additional author.
